Chris Wood: Winner of the 2025/26 MENA Golf Tour Rankings

Chris Wood - three-time DP World Tour winner, 2016 BMW PGA Champion, Ryder Cup player at Hazeltine - has just been confirmed as the winner of the 2025/26 MENA Golf Tour Rankings.

But the number that matters most isn't on a leaderboard. It's the number of years he spent away. Wood spent a significant stretch of his career battling chronic anxiety and burnout, which is not the sort of thing professional golfers use to talk about. And then he came back to earn his MENA Tour card the hard way, winning Q School in Portugal by six shots.

What followed was one of the most quietly remarkable seasons in recent professional golf.

"The MENA Golf Tour has offered me a realistic route back to where I want to be playing," Wood said after securing the title. "I'm very proud to have won the Order of Merit. I was pushed all the way to my three victories, which is great for me - each win offered something different."

Chris wore Abacus throughout the season. On courses in the Atlantic wind and the North African heat.
