Four competition days and four different skies. Here's what we're wearing through all of them.
Thursday
The course is quiet before the leaderboard means anything. Sunny morning, maybe waiting for a small breeze that hasn't decided its direction yet.
Friday
Second round and the dunes start doing their work on the wind by Friday afternoon. Lines tighten, the pace picks up and the crowd gets louder around the leaderboard.
Saturday
This is the day The Open tends to show off - sun at ten, rain by two, wind the whole way through. From polo to waterproofs in seconds, breathable enough that you never notice you changed.
Sunday
Whatever the week has been, Sunday asks you to be steady. Clean lines for the walk to the 18th - and then a quiet moment in the sun with a drink on the veranda.
