DGV – German National Golf Federation
Abacus has been the official team wear supplier to the German National Team and a partner of the DGV – the German Golf Federation - since 2012. During this time we have had the privilege of equipping a number of German golfers, supporting them at the start of their golf careers right through to international stardom and recognition. We are also very proud to have designed the outfits for the German Olympic team at the 2024 Olympic games in Paris, in which Esther Henseleit played great and won the silver medal – Germanys first ever Olympic medal in golf.
Working together for such a long time instills a high level of confidence and trust amongst the players, they know that their Abacus apparel will protect them in all weathers, keeping them warm, dry and comfortable - even in the pouring rain - enabling them to forget the conditions to focus on their game.
After signing a new four year agreement with Abacus in 2023, Marcus Neumann, Head of Sport at the German Golf Federation, stated that having Abacus as a clothing partner had been a major factor in their National teams success, highlighting the importance of having high performance clothing as part of the team equipment.
