Transpiration
Sweating is a natural and necessary process. When we are physically active, our muscles produce heat, and to cool ourselves down and maintain the optimal body temperature, our bodies produce sweat. Just by walking, we produce 8.45-16.90 fluid ounces of sweat per hour, and high physical activity can generate up to 50 fluid ounces in an hour. This fluid needs to be effectively transported away from the surface of the body to the outside of the clothing where it can evaporate quickly away leaving the body cool, dry and comfortable.
